Dead_Man_Inc SG

hope vidic really fit enough to play Wink

Pitot SG

We need to get the first goal.

sand king SG

Woots, viva vidic Laughing

I hope Rio plays with vidic and hope no screwing up Mad Neutral

X-men SG

AC Milan just need one goal to qualify.

Man U have to go out and attack. If they managed to score early, they will have a chance but if AC Milan were to score first..... then it might be difficult for Man U

sand king SG

how many do we need? lets say we concede one?

zocoss SG

If united let in 1, then they have to score 1 too... if 2... then 2 as well. Whatever, a draw will be good enough but if we are to lose, losing 3 - 2 in normal 90 mins is ok too.

But losing by a goal if they score more than 2 away goals would do as well like 3 - 4... But if all draw in normal time... An away goal for united would count as 2 in extra time... Meaning if united score 1, Milan have to score 2...

But i see this is going to be a tough game to play away... Its possible but very tough... Just hope for the best.

dragg SG

anything is possible.

liverpool proved it.

man u stands a good chance if they play at fast pace.

jianfish9 SG

But Liverpool is home.

Actually I rather be in Milan position. Not too bad having a 3-2 deficit to bring home to Old Trafford if for Man Utd.

For Man Utd to go through, they must ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!.
Man Utd team not made for defense one.

I think smith and fletcher will play and try to run milan down.

sand king SG

Meaning we will win if its a draw.

Yea, we need to score 1st.

imprezaWRXSTi22B SG

seriously, if MUFC can withstand the Milan hurricane for the first 15mins, they got a chance.

and once MUFC impose their game, it will be difficult for Milan.

the key is still the two MF Generals of Milan, Seedorf and Gattuso.
They were everywhere, destroying MUFC's progress like a Makele, or Mikel.

So it will be a chess match.. pace & strength vs experience.

as for scholes, sometimes, his reputation does get in the way.

the whole world knows about his mistimed tackles, so even if he got it right, he is booked.

I hope that the referee tonight is of stronger character cause we do need one.

A big worry for United is the fact they have three players just one booking away from a final ban Gabriel Heinze, Ronaldo and Paul Scholes.

I am unsure whether this is mind games or not, but it is of low quality.
And I just hate it, accept defeat and then move on.
No need to drag someone into the mud lah.

Dida mocks Man Utd: They're just lucky
tribalfooball.com - May 01, 2007

Cocky AC Milan goalkeeper Dida says Manchester United have nothing to boast about ahead of tonight's Champions League semifinal.

The Brazilian also reckons Ronaldo was outplayed by Milan's two-goal hero Kaka.

Dida said: "The duel between Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo did not even exist in the end.

"Kaka won that one clearly - not only by two goals to one but by his work on the field.

"Ronaldo was just not that great. I believe the nerves and the responsibility proved too much for him."

United carry that slender lead into the second leg thanks to Wayne Rooney's last-gasp strike.

But Dida insisted: "Rooney's goal was just lucky. It was so far out anything could have happened.

"By beating us, Manchester United have not proved they are better than us.

"In fact, they are very lucky the tie is not over already.

"With the score at 2-1 to Milan they were very close to going out.

"If we had taken our chances to make it 3-1 then the match and the tie would have been closed out."

End of day, it was 3-2.. and it was your fault that MUFC scored 3.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Milan goes thru. It’s all a matter of who lives up to the big stage tonight.

hisoka SG

kaka was probably better than ronado. but then doesn't mean ronaldo isn't good.

lpx88 SG

Thats why i was rather happy when we only lost by a goal margin to Roma in that 1st leg..cause i was sure that we will have a very high chance of overturning this tie at our ground..now Milan have the upper hand...

Hey if a Man Utd Vs Liverpool final does take place and it was FIFA 2007 commentators for the match.. i guess it would be sth like this:

'Now who remembers that night in Barcelona and that night in Istanbul? Well in a few years I've got a feeling you might just be talking about that night in Athens. The two red giants of European football collide tonight in perhaps the match of the century. Dreams will be broken, heroes will be made, and forever and a day grandfathers well tell stories of the time these giants met in May'
